The Stereo Image Podcast
Long-form conversations with the musicians and storytellers who shape how we listen, hosted by jazz pianist Mike Jones.
Overview
The Stereo Image is a long-form audio podcast hosted by jazz pianist Mike Jones, music director for Penn & Teller and a virtuoso of the Great American Songbook. Each episode is an unhurried, one-on-one conversation with a guest about where they come from and how they hear the world.
The draw is range. Mike sits down with working musicians and with people from well outside music, and the talk keeps circling back to their musical inclinations: the records, players, and moments that shaped how they listen. It is a show for people who lean in rather than skim.
New episodes arrive regularly, each paired with short-form social video that carries the best moments to a wider audience. From Judy Carmichael to Eric Mingus, the guest list keeps growing, and the series is active and ongoing. Listen at thestereoimage.com.

Press
“I love these insightful conversations with all of the special guests that Mike brings onto the show. As a professional musician myself, it’s very cool to hear both musicians and non-musicians talk about not only their histories but moreso their musical inclinations.”
